Next Engineering in Lisbon is seeking a Data Engineer with 5+ years of experience to design and optimize data pipelines in a hybrid Lisbon role.

You will work with Python, data modelling and schemas, migrations, performance monitoring, and release automation across environments, tackling complex data challenges in a financial services context.

The role offers a base salary of 1400–2000 EUR plus Food Allowance and Flex Benefits.

Qualificações

• 5+ years of experience as a Data Engineer.
• Strong skills with Python and developing data pipelines.
• Experience designing high-performance data pipelines.
• Experience with data modelling, data schemas and database management.
• Knowledge of data migrations, performance monitoring and troubleshooting.
• Experience with code reviews and best practices.
• Ability to analyze and solve complex data and infrastructure issues.
• Good understanding of IT architecture and data infrastructure.
• Experience with VBA and release management across environments.
• Experience in financial services/banking is a plus.
• Fluent/Expert level of English (mandatory).
