Keyrus Portugal is seeking a Data Engineer in Lisbon, working in a hybrid setup, to design, develop and maintain data pipelines and ETL processes that support analytics and reporting.

You will handle data integration across sources, build and optimise SQL queries, and contribute to data modelling while collaborating with business stakeholders. The role offers a salary of €28k–€32k gross per year and opportunities for continuous learning in a collaborative, international environment.

Qualificações

• Degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, or equivalent.
• Around 2–4 years of professional experience in Data Engineering, Data Integration, Business Intelligence, or a similar data-focused role.
• Experience with large and complex datasets.
• Experience working with business users and technical stakeholders to understand requirements and solve data-related challenges.
• Professional proficiency in English and Portuguese.

Responsabilidades

• Design, develop and maintain data pipelines and ETL processes.
• Build complex data integration workflows using SQL and SSIS.
• Extract, transform and integrate data from multiple sources.
• Work with large and complex datasets.
• Develop and optimise SQL queries, stored procedures and data transformations.
• Support the design and maintenance of data models and analytical data structures.
• Define and monitor SLAs for data pipelines and ETL processes.
• Monitor data processes and identify performance bottlenecks.
• Improve the performance, scalability, reliability and maintainability of existing data solutions.
• Ensure appropriate data quality and consistency throughout data pipelines.
• Apply strong Software Engineering principles to Data Engineering development.
• Follow database development, administration and performance optimisation best practices.
• Troubleshoot data integration, database and performance issues.
• Support analytical and reporting solutions using SSAS, SSRS and Power BI when required.
• Working closely with technical teams, business stakeholders and end users to understand data requirements and resolve technical challenges.
• Contributing to the continuous improvement of the client's data ecosystem.
