Hitachi Solutions Europe is growing its consulting team and seeking Senior Data Engineer Consultants to join our journey. You will deliver bespoke analytics solutions, bringing significant commercial advantage to top UK clients.

The role relies on your data engineering and BI expertise to advise clients on best practices and deliver data and analytics solutions on time and budget.

Qualificações

• Experience designing or developing advanced BI & analytics solutions using the full Microsoft BI stack.
• Ability to translate business requirements into technical requirements.
• Hands-on experience with data discovery tools such as Power BI, QlikView, Tableau.
• Model and transform data, build ETL solutions and present data in a business context.

Responsabilidades

• Advising clients on best data and analytics practices and delivering solutions on time and budget.
• Capture client requirements and model data to develop an effective intelligence solution architecture.
• Develop or design bespoke Data Platform, BI and Advanced Analytics solutions leveraging cloud technologies.

Job Description

We are growing our consulting team and looking for Senior Data Engineer Consultants to join us on our exciting journey and be part of the Hitachi Solutions family.

In this role you will be providing bespoke and cutting edge advanced analytics solutions, bringing significant commercial advantage to some of the UK’s most recognised companies.

The successful candidate will draw upon their experience with data engineering and business intelligence tools and techniques to advise clients on data and analytics best practices and deliver data and analytics solutions on time and to budget.

The Main Areas Of Responsibility Are

• Advising clients on the best data and analytics practices and deliver data and analytics capabilities on time and to budget.
• Capture client requirements and model data to develop an effective intelligence solution architecture.
• Develop or design bespoke Data Platform, Business Intelligence and Advanced Analytics solutions, leveraging the latest cloud technologies.
• Implement solutions using best practices for the management and transformation of data.
• Design and develop effective reports and dashboards to present information in a clear and informative manner.

Qualifications

We are looking for ambitious consulting professionals who combine their technical acumen with a genuine enthusiasm for improving organisations.

• Strong client facing experience, previously working for a management consultancy or system integrator.
• Demonstrable experience designing or developing advanced business intelligence & analytics solutions using the full Microsoft BI stack (SQL Server, SSIS, SSRS, SSAS).
• Ability to translate business requirements into technical requirements.
• Design & development experience using data discovery tools such as Microsoft Power BI, QlikView, Tableau.
• Ability to model and transform data, build ETL solutions and present data in a useful business context.
• Hands‑on experience with modern programming languages such as Python.
• Familiarity with data integration tools like Azure Data Factory and data platform solutions such as Microsoft Fabric and/or Databricks.
• Experience or awareness of Big Data and data science and/or AI technologies, including the integration of Machine Learning…
