As a Senior Data Engineer at Indicium AI in Lisbon, you will take on a critical role, leading the design and implementation of scalable data platforms while acting as a technical authority. Responsibilities include creating ELT pipelines and ensuring top-level data governance.

The ideal candidate has over 5 years of experience in data systems, particularly in Python and SQL, and demonstrates strong leadership and communication skills. You will also mentor junior engineers and drive company initiatives.

Qualificações

• 5+ years of professional experience building production data systems.
• Expert-level SQL skills including schema design and complex query optimization.
• Advanced dbt expertise; certification is desirable.
• Experience with big data tools like Spark or Airflow.
• Advanced Terraform experience for Infrastructure as Code.

Responsabilidades

• Lead design and delivery of scalable data architectures.
• Architect and maintain ELT pipelines.
• Own data infrastructure management via Infrastructure as Code.
• Establish data governance frameworks for compliance.
• Act as a technical advisor to senior client stakeholders.
