Link is hiring a Senior Data Engineer / Data Architect to lead a flagship insurance project. You will design and migrate to a Lakehouse data architecture using Microsoft Fabric and Azure, guiding a team of specialists and engaging with client leadership.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Senior Data Architect.
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Fabric, Azure, Azure DevOps, and Purview.
• Team leadership and consulting experience.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills with senior stakeholders.
• Microsoft certifications are desirable.

Responsibilities

• Technically lead the project, implementing the new cloud data architecture (Lakehouse) and the migration of the legacy Data Warehouse to the new architecture.
• Manage and allocate work across the Link team (comprising the Tech Lead and 3 Data Engineers) and the client team.
• Recommend data and analytics best practices based on consulting experience.
• Interact regularly with Directors from different areas of the client organization and, occasionally, with senior management.
• Present high-level project progress updates to different stakeholders.
