Deel is hiring a Senior Credit Risk Analyst to own the full credit risk lifecycle across 150+ countries, from underwriting to portfolio monitoring and collections. You will build models, dashboards, and AI-enabled workflows to scale risk management while enabling growth for customers and partners worldwide.

Qualificações

  • 2-3 years in credit risk, underwriting, analytics in fintech or lending.
  • Proficiency with SQL, Python, Excel, Tableau or similar; large datasets.
  • Analytical mindset; able to move quickly between strategy and execution.
  • Self-driven, thrives in ambiguity and takes ownership.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication; explains financial concepts clearly.
  • Strong organization in a fast-moving environment.
  • Experience building AI workflows or AI-enabled risk tooling.
  • Experience in startup or high-growth settings a plus.

Summary

You'll work at the intersection of Deel's growth and responsibility. As a Senior Credit Risk Analyst, you'll own the full credit risk lifecycle—from acquisition and underwriting through portfolio monitoring and collections—helping us scale globally while building sustainable, trust-based relationships with our customers. You'll combine sharp analytical thinking with hands‑on problem‑solving, working across a platform that spans 150+ countries and hundreds of thousands of workers. This is a role where your decisions directly impact both our business and the reliability of our customers' global operations.

Responsibilities
  • Lead credit assessments and underwriting decisions on new customers and portfolio risk, translating financial analysis and market signals into clear acquisition recommendations
  • Build and maintain monitoring models and dashboards that surface portfolio trends, detect early warnings, and inform proactive risk management across customer segments
  • Partner with Sales, Customer Success, and Finance to balance sustainable growth with prudent risk management, providing clear rationale for approval, exceptions, and escalations
  • Develop automation and tooling—including data pipelines, scoring models, and AI-powered workflows—that make the team's work faster and smarter
  • Analyze large datasets to identify patterns, risks, and opportunities; communicate findings clearly to cross‑functional stakeholders and senior leadership
Qualifications
  • 2-3 years in credit risk, credit underwriting, credit analytics, or similar roles at a financial services, fintech, or lending organization
  • Proficiency with data analysis tools (SQL, Python, Excel, Tableau, or similar); ability to manipulate large datasets and build working models
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to move quickly between strategic thinking and tactical execution
  • Proactive self‑starter who thrives in ambiguity and takes ownership without needing direction
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills; ability to explain complex financial concepts clearly to non‑financial audiences
  • Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail in a fast‑moving environment
  • Hands‑on experience building with AI tools or implementing AI workflows; curiosity about how to apply AI to credit and risk problems
  • Track record of building or automating processes that scaled with the business
  • Experience working in or supporting a startup or high‑growth environment is a plus

  • Our salary range reflects gross base salary. For commercial roles with commission eligibility, this figure represents On-Target Earnings (OTE), inclusive of base salary and target commission.

  • Final pay is based on objective, job‑related criteria including experience, skills, and location.
