RHJ Group in Porto is seeking a Senior Corporate Accountant to join our international team. You will act as the main contact for corporate clients, manage tax queries, prepare reports, and ensure deadlines are met in cross-border environments.

This role requires proactive, detail-oriented professionals fluent in Portuguese and English, with strong communication and organisational skills. You will also oversee Admin & Payroll tasks and contribute to keeping clients compliant across jurisdictions.

With a growing client base, we are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Senior Corporate Accountant to join our team in Porto. This is a unique opportunity to thrive in an international, fast-paced environment while enhancing your professional skills.

Key Responsibilities

• Act as the main point of contact for corporate clients, building strong, lasting relationships.
• Answer client tax queries with clear, accurate, and timely advice.
• Prepare and provide reports to clients as required.
• Submit tax obligations on behalf of clients, ensuring accuracy and adherence to deadlines.
• Process client expenses based on the invoices and receipts received.
• Maintain client tax compliance across all relevant jurisdictions.
• Advise clients on upcoming tax deadlines and the actions they need to take.
• Apply expert knowledge in specialist areas, including:
• Tax rates applicable to island jurisdictions.
• Double taxation treaties and their implications.
• Researching and presenting tax-specific information in a way clients can easily understand.
• Liaise with tax authorities on behalf of clients to resolve queries and obligations.
• Oversee specific tasks delegated to the Admin & Payroll team, ensuring quality and consistency.

• Location: Porto, Portugal
• Hours: Full-time, 9am - 6pm, Monday to Friday
