Cisco is seeking a Consulting Engineering Technical Leader in Portugal to own and lead the strategy, design, and implementation of sophisticated Data Centre and networking solutions that accelerate business outcomes.

You will provide technical leadership for complex projects, drive adoption of innovative technology, and apply advanced AI tools to optimise team workflows and delivery. This role requires deep Nexus experience and industry certifications.

Qualificações

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent; 8–12 years of relevant customer-facing technical consulting experience.
• Deep knowledge of L2/L3 networking protocols and technologies (vPC, STP, HSRP, OSPF, EIGRP, BGP) with strong Nexus platform experience.
• Experience in design and deployment of Data Centre solutions including VXLAN Fabric and ACI Fabric using MultiPod/Multisite architectures.
• Experience integrating network services appliances (firewalls, IPS, load balancers, WAN optimizers) within Data Centre designs.
• Expert level (CCIE, Cisco DevNet) or equivalent vendor certification expected.

Responsabilidades

• Provide technical leadership for complex cross-functional projects with Cisco Data Centre technologies.
• Drive adoption of innovative technology to deliver scalable, robust services.
• Apply and share advanced AI tools to optimise team workflows and validation.
• Ensure solutions deliver measurable value and drive long-term adoption and satisfaction.
• Act as escalation point for complex problem resolution across data centre technologies.
• Lead development of digital intellectual capital and repeatable delivery frameworks.
• Maintain relationships with Engineering Business Units and Service Development teams to influence future roadmaps.
