Continental is seeking a dedicated (Senior) Consultant Data Science to enhance, maintain and roll out AI forecasting solutions. You will develop AI features using Python and AWS, drive performance improvements, and manage Demand Planning projects across the supply chain.

The role includes consulting with stakeholders, coaching during blueprinting, and delivering IT services for data science workloads. Ideal candidates hold a university degree in IT/math/statistics or related fields, 3+ years in

Qualificações

• University degree in IT/Math/Statistics/Physics/Economics/Data Science or related field.
• 3+ years of professional experience in Data Science and/or Demand Planning.
• Experience in managing IT projects.
• Knowledge in at least one OO programming language (Python or R).
• Experience in advanced analytics methods like data mining, forecasting and machine learning.
• Expertise with self-service BI tools (Power BI) favorable.
• Considerable knowledge in using database systems (SQL).
• Preferably experience in Sales and Operations Planning and relevant SAP modules.
• High degree of curiosity, willingness to experiment and interest in new technologies.
• Proficiency in English (written and verbal).

We are currently seeking a dedicated (Senior) Consultant Data Science for the enhancement, maintenance and roll-out of our AI forecasting solution.

Main Responsibilities:

• Development, maintenance and roll-out of AI solutions (Python and AWS stack);
• Further developing the solutions with respect to performance, cost efficiency and end-to-end supply chain process fit;
• Plan and manage projects in the area of Demand Planning and Forecasting from requirement analysis to implementation;
• Consulting and coaching during requirement analysis, process development and business blueprint;
• IT service for AI solutions on our data science factory (Python, AWS, Angular, Airflow, Kubernetes, PostgreSQL);
• Analyze requirements and problems and develop solutions.

• University degree in Information Technology, Mathematics, Statistics, Physics, Economics, Data Science, or a related field;
• +3 years of professional experience in the area of Data Science and/or Demand planning;
• Experience in managing IT Projects;
• Knowledge in at least one object-oriented programming language (e.g. Python, R);
• Experience in advanced analytics methods like data mining, forecasting, machine learning;
• Expertise with self-service BI tools (e.g. Power BI) favorable;
• Considerable knowledge in using database systems (e.g. SQL);
• Preferably experience in Sales and Operations Planning and relevant SAP modules;
• High degree of curiosity, willingness to experiment and interest in new technologies;
• Proficiency in English language skills (written / verbal).
