Job summary

Extia Group is seeking an experienced Cloud & DevOps Engineer to join our Porto team. The role emphasizes building scalable cloud infrastructure, automating CI/CD pipelines, and implementing IaC to support SaaS platforms.

You will work with AWS, GitLab, and various tooling to ensure secure, reliable, and high-performance systems. You will contribute to design, deployment, and maintenance of containerized microservices, while collaborating across teams and maintaining best practices for security

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
At least 5 years of professional Cloud & DevOps experience.
Experience with AWS and GitLab is highly desirable.
Strong knowledge of version control, configuration management, and software deployment tools (Git, GitLab, GitHub, Jenkins, Terraform).
Proven Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and CI/CD pipeline experience.
Strong understanding of microservices, containers, and application containerization strategies.
Knowledge of Windows and Linux security and supporting infrastructure components.
Experience in database management, administration, performance, and scalability (MySQL, PostgreSQL, MSSQL, MongoDB).
Experience designing and maintaining SaaS applications and their systems, networks, and End User Computing infrastructure.
Experience in process improvement, troubleshooting, and root cause analysis.
Fluent English is required.

Responsibilities

Design, implement, and maintain cloud infrastructure and DevOps solutions, preferably in AWS environments.
Develop and manage CI/CD pipelines to automate build, testing, deployment, and delivery processes.
Implement and maintain Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform.
Manage source code repositories, version control workflows, and configuration management using Git, GitLab, GitHub, and related tools.
Automate provisioning, configuration, and deployment to improve reliability and efficiency.
Design, deploy, and maintain containerized applications and microservices architectures.
Ensure security, availability, scalability, and performance of cloud infrastructure and supporting systems.
Manage and secure Windows and Linux operating systems and related infrastructure components.
Design, maintain, and optimize databases across MySQL, PostgreSQL, MSSQL, and MongoDB.
Design, develop, and maintain SaaS applications and their supporting networks and End User Computing environments.
Perform root cause analysis to troubleshoot complex issues and implement long-term solutions.
