Wire IT seeks a SAP HANA Performance Engineer to join our hybrid team operating in Porto, Lisbon or Fundão. You will analyze complex performance issues, optimize Intel x86 workflows, and collaborate with on-site teams to drive PoC changes and tool improvements.

The ideal candidate has 3+ years of relevant experience, strong C++ skills, and fluency in English (B2+). Knowledge of RDBMS, aarch64, and Python are nice-to-have assets.

Qualificações

• 3+ years of professional experience in performance engineering.
• Ability to analyze and debug complex problems.
• Good knowledge of data structures, algorithms, and software design.
• Excellent knowledge of Intel x86 architecture specifics.
• Track record of using profiling tools such as perf and VTune in the analysis of performance issues.
• Good C++ skills.
• Verbal and written working proficiency in English, B2+ (fluent).
• Experience with explorative performance and root cause analysis.
• Experience identifying Intel x86-specific optimization potential.
• Experience comparing performance results between platforms.
• Experience with PoC code changes.
• Experience building and extending analysis tools.
• Nice to have: Knowledge of RDBMS.
• Nice to have: Experience with aarch64 platform.
• Nice to have: Python programming experience.
