Adentis Portugal is seeking a skilled Backup & Recovery Engineer to manage and support our enterprise backup and recovery infrastructure in Lisbon. You will handle L3 incident troubleshooting, TSM DB2 administration, and multi-site storage operations.

Strong expertise with IBM Storage Protect, TSM v8+, AIX/Linux, and tape libraries is required. The role involves VMware backup, scripting in Shell/SQL/Python/Perl, and collaboration with ITIL/Agile teams.

Qualificações

• Strong experience with IBM Storage Protect / TSM v8+.
• Experience with TSM DB2 administration and recovery.
• Good knowledge of AIX and Linux, enterprise backup and recovery.
• Tape libraries and tape management, Storage Protect VE.
• VMware backup, Storage pools and retention policies.
• S3 backup protocols and NDMP.
• RMAN and TDP, Shell scripting (Bash/KSH).
• SQL scripting, Python and Perl.
• Experience with IBM Power Systems and Dell Storage.
• Knowledge of monitoring and automation; ITIL processes and Agile methodologies.

Responsabilidades

• Manage and support enterprise backup and recovery infrastructure.
• Provide L3 support and troubleshoot complex backup incidents.
• Perform TSM DB2 administration and recovery.
• Manage storage pools, retention policies, and backup lifecycle.
• Support tape libraries and tape management.
• Manage VMware backup and recovery using Storage Protect VE.
• Develop and maintain restore and recovery procedures.
• Support multi-site backup infrastructures.
• Implement monitoring and automation solutions.
• Develop scripts using Shell, SQL, Python, and Perl.
• Support backup technologies and protocols such as S3 and NDMP.
• Work with RMAN and TDP environments; collaborate with ITIL/Agile teams.
