Scrambly is hiring a Senior Backend Engineer to build core systems serving millions of users. You will design scalable Node.js (NestJS) RESTful APIs and distributed services, and work across product, design, and QA to translate requirements into robust technical specifications.

The role emphasizes performance, maintainability, and collaboration in a fast-paced startup environment. You will mentor engineers, champion clean code, and partner with DevOps to optimize CI/CD.

Qualificações

• 5+ years of software engineering experience with backend focus.
• Proficient in Node.js and NestJS.
• Strong system design and distributed systems knowledge.
• Experience with cloud platforms (GCP preferred; AWS/Azure acceptable).
• Familiar with Docker, Kubernetes, Terraform, and Helm.
• Experience with PostgreSQL, Redis, and messaging systems.
• Frontend autonomy with React for internal tools.
• Excellent written and spoken English (B2+).

Responsabilidades

• Architecture & Development: Design, build, and maintain scalable Node.js (NestJS) RESTful APIs and distributed systems.
• Quality & Mentorship: Promote clean, testable code and mentor engineers through reviews and pair programming.
• Infrastructure & Performance: Monitor reliability, resolve bottlenecks, manage container lifecycles, optimize CI/CD with DevOps.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work with Product, Design, and QA to translate requirements into robust technical specs.
