Wellhub is hiring a Senior Backend Software Engineer for its Billing team in Portugal. You will own critical services handling millions of transactions, shaping new architecture and ensuring scalable, resilient systems.

You will work with Java/Kotlin (Spring), microservices and cloud-native stacks, collaborating with a diverse global team to deliver high-quality software and seamless integrations.

Qualificações

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or equivalent professional experience.
• Experience delivering high‑quality software
• Strong understanding of RESTful services and scalable architectures

Responsabilidades

• Participate in development of critical services for scalable ecosystem.
• Design, develop, test, deploy, maintain and improve services focusing on performance, scalability, resilience.
• Build integrations with 3rd party API and tools
• Work in collaborative, agile environment prioritizing people over process
• Work with cutting-edge technologies and global-scale edge cases
• Promote wellbeing and supportive team culture
