Your New Role

We are looking for a talented and motivated Senior Backend Developer to join our dynamic team. You will play a key role in developing and maintaining our digital platforms, ensuring we deliver robust and scalable solutions that enhance our customer experience. The ideal candidate is a strong team player, passionate about high-quality code, and eager to learn new technologies.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain high-quality backend services using Node.js and related technologies.
• Implement and integrate REST APIs.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and deliver new features in a microservice environment.
• Participate in code reviews to maintain code quality and share knowledge.
• Identify and solve performance and reliability issues in our applications.
• Work within Agile methodologies (SAFe, Scrum, Kanban) and contribute to continuous improvement.
• Engage in DevOps practices, including CI/CD pipelines and containerization with Docker.

What You Will Need To Succeed

• Strong backend development experience with Node.js, and ideally TypeScript/JavaScript.
• Familiarity with Node.js frameworks such as Express.js, NestJS.
• Experience with relational and NoSQL databases (e.g., Postgres, DynamoDB).
• Experience in API development using REST, GraphQL, or SOAP.
• Good knowledge of cloud services (AWS, Kubernetes)
• Good knowledge of DevOps tools (Docker) and CI/CD practices using Git, Jenkins and cloud-based hosting platforms (Bitbucket).
• Understanding of authentication and authorization mechanisms (JWT, OAuth 2.0).
• Experience with messaging systems (e.g., Kafka).
• Strong communication skills (fluency in English) and a curiosity-driven mindset.
• Demonstrated growth mindset and willingness to learn new technical and non-technical skills.

Bonus Skills

• Interest in AI-assisted development and familiarity with tools like GitHub Copilot to enhance productivity and code quality.
• Experience with single page applications, and Headless CMS architecture
