Luza is seeking an integration engineer to review API docs, propose ingestion approaches and implement solutions for SaaS connections using Azure data services. You will work with a range of APIs, including Shopify, to deliver scalable integration pipelines and documentation.

The role requires strong English and Portuguese, a hands-on approach, and a willingness to operate in a hybrid model based in Lisbon or Porto. Remote work is possible where feasible.

What You’ll do:

• Review the API documentation of unfamiliar SaaS applications;
• Propose appropriate data ingestion approaches;
• Identify technical or data-quality issues;
• Implement integration solutions;
• Document integration solutions;
• Work with a reasonable degree of independence throughout the integration engineering process;
• Hybrid work model (Lisbon or Porto);

Who You Are:

• Strong hands-on experience with Azure Data Factory, REST API integrations, Azure SQL / T-SQL, Azure Logic Apps, Azure Storage, Azure Key Vault, JSON/API payload processing, OAuth 2.0 and token/API-key-based authentication, incremental data ingestion patterns, logging, monitoring, error handling and Git / Azure DevOps / CI/CD;
• Experience with Shopify APIs, e-commerce, logistics/WMS platforms or similar SaaS integrations is particularly valuable;
• Strong integration engineering profile, rather than a profile primarily focused on Power BI/reporting, data science or Databricks;
• Ability to work with unfamiliar SaaS applications, review API documentation, propose appropriate ingestion approaches, identify technical or data-quality issues, implement solutions and document them with a reasonable degree of independence;
• Good written and spoken English and Portuguese are required;
