Work standard in Funchal, Portugal seeks a Senior Architect to lead complex projects from concept through construction. You will guide design teams, coordinate with engineers and contractors, and ensure compliance with codes while mentoring junior staff.

Requirements include a architecture degree and 8+ years of experience, with 3+ in a senior role. Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp and Adobe CS is expected; fluency in Portuguese is a plus. Salary is €1,300 per month on a contract basis.

Qualificações

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Architecture from an accredited institution.
• Minimum of 8 years of experience in architectural design, with at least 3 years in a senior role.
• Proficient in AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, Adobe Creative Suite.
• Strong leadership and mentoring abilities.

Responsabilidades

• Lead and manage projects from initial concept through to construction completion.
• Oversee all aspects of project design including site analysis, schematic design, design development, and construction documentation.
• Collaborate with clients to understand needs and develop design solutions.
• Conduct site visits and prepare reports on existing conditions.
• Prepare accurate cost estimates and project timelines.
• Coordinate with engineers and contractors throughout the project lifecycle.
• Ensure designs comply with building codes and regulations.
• Mentor junior team members and provide guidance on complex design issues.
