Jobgether is seeking a Senior Android Engineer to own the Android app end-to-end from architecture to releases. You will lead a small, autonomous mobile team, mentoring engineers and shaping the mobile roadmap while collaborating with product, growth, and onboarding teams.

You will work in a product-led environment with experimentation, A/B testing, and data-driven decisions to continually improve the user experience on Android.

Qualificações

• 5+ years of professional experience in native Android development.
• Proficiency in Kotlin and ability to ship high-quality consumer Android apps.
• Hands-on with Jetpack Compose and traditional Android Views.
• Strong knowledge of Android frameworks, architecture patterns, and state-management.
• Experience with Firebase, push notifications, Google Play Console, and Play Store deployment.
• Proficiency with Android Studio, testing, debugging, and performance optimization.
• Experience monitoring app stability and crash analysis.
• Experience leading or mentoring engineers.
• Ability to own ambiguous problems and make decisions independently.
• Strong communication and collaboration across engineering, product, and growth.
• Product-oriented mindset with data-driven decisions.
• Java experience is a plus.
• iOS development experience with Swift is a plus.

Responsabilidades

• Own the Android application end-to-end, including architecture, direction, performance, releases, and roadmap execution.
• Establish the technical vision for mobile development while maintaining high engineering standards.
• Lead, mentor, and support existing mobile engineers.
• Collaborate with engineering and product leadership to shape strategy and prioritize mobile initiatives.
• Work with product and growth teams on features improving acquisition, onboarding, engagement, and retention.
• Deliver a native-feeling Android experience with smooth animations and platform-appropriate design.
• Develop and ship features rapidly in a product-led, A/B testing environment.
• Instrument features, analyze results, and drive data-driven improvements.
• Own the Android app release process, including versioning, Google Play deployment, and app-store optimization.
• Diagnose and resolve complex technical issues to improve stability and performance.
• Help define the mobile engineering function as the product and team scale.
