TeamViewer GmbH in Porto/Braga region seeks an Android Software Engineer to design, develop, and maintain scalable Android applications for enterprise and industrial customers. You will work on Frontline workflows, collaborate with backend and platform teams, and apply modern architectures and testing practices.

The role emphasizes Kotlin, Android SDK, Jetpack Compose, and MVVM/MVI/clean architectures, with opportunities to explore Kotlin Multiplatform and AI/AR integrations for enhancing mobile

Qualificações

• University degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field.
• 3+ years of professional Android development experience or senior-level expertise delivering mobile apps at scale.
• Strong proficiency in Kotlin, Android SDK, Jetpack Compose, and modern app architectures.
• Experience integrating with RESTful APIs, WebSockets, or message-based backends.
• Familiarity with offline-first design and performance optimization for constrained devices.
• Experience with modularization, dependency injection, and asynchronous programming.
• Understanding of testing methodologies (unit, UI, instrumentation) and CI/CD workflows.
• Fluency in English; other languages are a plus.

Responsabilidades

• Design, develop, and maintain world-class Android applications for enterprise and industrial customers.
• Architect clean, scalable, and testable codebases using modern Android frameworks and best practices.
• Collaborate with backend and platform teams to ensure seamless integration, synchronization, and reliability across devices.
• Contribute innovative solutions and new features for the Frontline platform with UX and product teams.
• Participate in peer reviews, pair programming, and cross-platform design discussions to uphold quality.
• Own deliverables end-to-end—from ideation to release—ensuring reliability and performance.
• Experiment with emerging technologies (Kotlin Multiplatform, Compose Multiplatform, AI/AR) to push boundaries.
