Efficio in Lisbon is seeking an experienced accountant to join their dynamic team. The role involves overseeing financial reporting processes and ensuring compliance with relevant accounting standards, while also providing insights into financial data and identifying process improvements.

The ideal candidate will have at least 3 years of accounting experience, strong knowledge of GAAP and IFRS, and excellent Excel skills. Qualificações

• Minimum of 3+ years of progressive accounting experience.
• Familiarity with IFRS and tax regulations.
• ACCA, CIMA, or other relevant accounting certifications are a plus.

Responsabilidades

• Prepare month-end journal entries and reconcile accounts.
• Maintain the general ledger and monitor journal entries.
• Prepare and review balance sheet reconciliations.
• Ensure adherence to finance and process controls.
• Provide audit support with required documentation.
• Analyze costs and prepare management account commentary.
• Identify and implement improvements in accounting processes.
• Collaborate on accounts payable/receivable activities.
• Maintain intercompany ledgers and ensure reconciliations.
