iBET Portugal is seeking a mid-level IT Systems & Security Administrator to strengthen server and network security across the institute in Oeiras, Portugal. You will work hands-on with Windows Server and Linux, manage VLANs and firewall rules, and own patch management and post-patch validation.

Reporting to the Head of IT, you will help keep the hybrid infrastructure secure and reliable, coordinating patch windows with labs, documenting configurations, and supporting security audits and incident

Qualificações

• 2-4 years in systems/network administration.
• Solid Windows Server administration (AD, GPO, DNS) and Linux administration (Debian/Ubuntu/RHEL).
• Experience with VLAN segmentation, firewall configurations, and network security hardening.
• Fluent in Portuguese and English.

Responsabilidades

• Patch management across Windows Server and Linux distros.
• Server provisioning, configuration, and lifecycle management (physical + virtualized).
• Backup/restore operations and disaster recovery testing.
• Monitoring server health, capacity and performance.
• Documentation of server inventory, configurations, and runbooks.
• Own patch triage and validation with risk-based prioritization.
• Collaborate on security posture, governance, and incidents.
