Cloudflare is seeking a highly skilled systems developer to design, implement, and operate distributed software for its Application Security product offering. You will contribute across the SDLC, collaborating with security, network, SRE, and product teams to build scalable, maintainable systems using Rust, Go, and C++ on Unix/Linux.

The role includes mentoring teammates, reviewing peers, and ensuring robust production health in deployments.

Qualificações

• 3+ years of relevant professional experience with a technology company
• Strong programming skills in Rust, Go, C++, or a similar systems-level language
• Experience building and operating distributed systems
• Experience with monitoring, alerting and debugging high volume production systems
• Experience with databases, including PostgreSQL, Clickhouse and Memcached
• Experience with modern Unix/Linux development and runtime environments
• Experience with monitoring and logging tools like Prometheus and Grafana
• Experience with containerization and orchestration technologies, such as Docker and Kubernetes
• Flexibility to be on-call outside of standard working hours as needed
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, demonstrating empathy, teamwork and a sense of ownership

Responsabilidades

• Design, implement, and maintain software systems across Cloudflare’s Application Security Product Offering
• Participate in all stages of the software development lifecycle from design to production deployment monitoring
• Collaborate with security, network engineering, SRE, and product management teams to design scalable solutions
• Review peer work to ensure high-quality, maintainable code
• Mentor team members and coordinate with support teams to ensure customer delight
• Debug issues in complex systems and improve operational health
