ITDS is seeking a Security Risk Officer based in Porto with a hybrid work model allowing up to three remote days per week. In this role, you will work with a leading global financial institution to establish IT risk management standards that enhance security across financial technology infrastructure.

Ideal candidates will possess strong technology risk management experience, and analytical skills, and be adept in Power BI and Excel. A proactive mindset and effective stakeholder communication are essential.

Qualificações

As a Security Risk Officer, you will be working for our client, a leading global financial institution, dedicated to establishing and deploying IT risk management standards that safeguard modern banking systems. Join a dynamic international team where your expertise will directly impact the security posture and risk governance of critical financial technology infrastructure.

Your main responsibilities:

• Define and maintain standard operating procedures for permanent IT controls.
• Deploy and implement new level 1 permanent control frameworks.
• Validate execution and effectiveness of IT control procedures.
• Develop comprehensive reports on IT controls compliance and risk metrics.
• Communicate effectively with stakeholders on risk control status and findings.
• Provide training, tools, and advice to ensure adoption of security best practices.

You're ideal for this role if you have:

• Proven experience in technology risk management within banking or financial services.
• Strong understanding of technology risk assessment methodologies and frameworks.
• Knowledge of regulatory requirements and industry standards for IT risk management.
• Hands-on experience with Power BI and Excel for risk reporting.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
• Creative and proactive approach to identifying and mitigating risk.
• Comfort communicating with multiple stakeholders across technical and business teams.
• Results-oriented mindset with attention to detail.

It is a strong plus if you have:

• Knowledge of COBIT and ITIL frameworks.
• Relevant certifications such as ISO27001, ISO27005, CISSP, CISM, or CRISC.
• Project management experience and training delivery skills.
