We Are META is seeking a Security Risk Officer to assess and manage technology risks within the financial services sector in Porto. The ideal candidate has a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, at least four years of experience in technology risk management, and proficiency in Power BI and Microsoft Excel. Seeking a professional with strong expertise in technology risk management. The role involves assessing and managing technology risks within a financial services context using data analysis tools and industry frameworks.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
• At least 4 years of professional experience in technology risk management, preferably within the banking or financial services industry
• Strong understanding of technology risk assessment methodologies and frameworks
• Solid knowledge of regulatory requirements and industry standards related to technology risk management
• Hands‑on experience with Power BI and Microsoft Excel for data analysis and reporting
• Familiarity with COBIT and/or ITIL frameworks (Plus)
• Relevant certifications such as ISO 27001, ISO 27005, CISSP, CISM, or CRISC (Plus)
• Fluency in English (B2)
• Availability for hybrid work in Porto, Portugal (requires Portuguese or other EU citizenship, or a valid Portuguese work permit).
