Affinity is seeking a skilled SOC Analyst to join our security operations team in Porto. You will work in a global, multi-time zone environment, deploying Microsoft Sentinel and Defender Suite, and supporting incident escalation and QA for Level 1 analysts.

Qualificações

• Proven experience as a SOC analyst or in a security operations role.
• Hands-on with Microsoft Sentinel (including KQL) and Defender Suite (EDR, Defender for Cloud, Defender ATP).
• Experience supporting Level 1 analysts, including incident escalation and QA.
• Solid understanding of MITRE ATT&CK and NIST frameworks; experience with threat hunting and log analysis.
• Certifications like SC-200, CySA+, Security+ are a plus.

What We're Looking For

• Proven experience as a SOC Analyst or in a similar advanced security operations role
• Strong hands-on expertise with Microsoft Sentinel (including KQL) and the Microsoft Defender Suite (EDR, Defender for Cloud, Defender ATP)
• Experience supporting Level 1 analysts, including incident escalation and quality assurance
• Solid understanding of security frameworks (MITRE ATT&CK, NIST) and experience with threat hunting and log analysis
• Proficiency with additional security tools such as CrowdStrike, Coralogix, or AWS GuardDuty is highly desirable
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work under pressure in a global, multi-time zone environment
• Relevant certifications (e.g., SC-200, CySA+, Security+) are a strong plus
• Good level of English (minimum B2)
