Bauer Media Group in Lisbon invites a highly skilled SAP S/4HANA Master Data Management Functional Specialist to join our growing SAP Centre of Excellence in Portugal. You will ensure data quality, governance and consistency across SAP MDG, collaborating with multiple countries to enable efficient operations.

• Strong SAP Master Data Management experience.
• SAP MDG experience within SAP S/4HANA environments.
• Understanding of Business Partner, Material and Finance master data processes.
• Experience gathering and translating business requirements.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Experience working within support and service management environments.
• Self-motivated with a can-do attitude.
• English language proficiency (professional).

Responsabilidades

• Provide Level 2 support for SAP MDG-based Master Data Management processes, managing incidents and change activities.
• Support and enhance SAP Master Data Management solutions.
• Manage and improve SAP MDG processes and governance.
• Support Business Partner, Material and Finance master data processes.
• Analyze business requirements and translate them into SAP solutions.
• Support enhancements across full lifecycle: analysis, specification, testing, implementation and communication.
• Identify opportunities for data quality improvements.
• Collaborate with stakeholders across countries and functions.
• Create and maintain MDG process documentation.

As our SAP S/4HANA Master Data Management Functional Specialist, you will play a key role in ensuring the quality, governance and consistency of master data across our SAP landscape, helping to enable efficient business operations and informed decision-making.

You will work closely with business stakeholders, Global Process Owners and technical teams to optimise master data processes, support SAP MDG solutions and drive continuous improvement initiatives.

Your Role

• Provide Level 2 support for SAP MDG-based Master Data Management processes, managing incidents, service requests and change activities in line with agreed priorities.
• Supporting and enhancing SAP Master Data Management solutions
• Managing and improving SAP MDG processes and governance
• Supporting Business Partner, Material and Finance master data processes
• Analysing business requirements and translating them into SAP solutions
• Support functional enhancements and new requirements throughout the full lifecycle, including analysis, specification, testing, implementation and communication
• Identifying opportunities for process optimisation and data quality improvements
• Collaborating with stakeholders across multiple countries and business areas
• Create and maintain functional and technical documentation for SAP MDG processes, configuration, enhancements and changes.

Essential

• Strong SAP Master Data Management experience
• SAP MDG experience within SAP S/4HANA environments
• Understanding of Business Partner, Material and Finance master data processes
• Experience gathering and translating business requirements
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
• Experience working within support and service management environments
• Self-motivated with a can-do attitude
• English language (professional proficiency minimum)

Nice to have

• Experience with SAP MDG Central Governance and Data Quality Management
• Large international SAP environment experience
• Exposure to AI tools and technologies
• International shared services or CoE experience
• German and/or Portuguese communication to professional proficiency

Working Pattern / Location

This role is based in Lisbon and follows a hybrid working model: 4 days in the office and 1 from home. This is a permanent position.
