Excelia in Porto, Portugal is seeking a SAP IAM Security Junior Consultant to join the team on a hybrid basis, requiring 1+ years of IAM experience.

You will support the IAM/authorization team in designing and maintaining user roles and access rights, collect requirements, and document them, while following security policies and approval steps.

This role offers exposure to SoD risks, access reviews, and collaboration with senior colleagues for remediation; experience with Agile is beneficial.

Qualificações

• 1+ years of proven experience in SAP IAM Security or a similar role.
• Basic IAM/authorization knowledge (users, groups, roles, permissions) and RBAC fundamentals.
• Exposure to access provisioning/ticket handling tools (service desk or IAM tool).
• Comfortable using Excel/Office tools for evidence tracking and reporting.
• Familiarity with ITIL/service processes and Agile ways of working is a plus.

Position: SAP IAM Security Junior Consultant

Location: Porto, Portugal | Hybrid – 2 to 3 times per month in the office

Main responsibilities

• Support the IAM/authorization team in designing and maintaining user roles and access rights under guidance.
• Collect and clarify access requirements with business users and document them in a structured way.
• Assist in implementing access changes (joiner/mover/leaver) and ensure requests follow defined approval steps.
• Help with periodic access reviews/recertifications by preparing evidence and tracking open actions.
• Follow established security policies and contribute to keeping process documentation up to date.
• Escalate risks, SoD conflicts, and unusual access patterns to senior colleagues and support remediation tasks.

Requirements

• 1+ years of proven experience as an SAP IAM Security Specialist, or similar role.
• Basic IAM / authorization knowledge (users, groups, roles, permissions) and role concept fundamentals (RBAC).
• Exposure to access provisioning/ticket handling tools (service desk or IAM tool).
• Comfortable working with Excel/Office tools for evidence tracking and reporting.
• Nice to have: first touchpoints with SAP authorizations (e.g., roles concept).
• Basic understanding of ITIL/service processes (incident, request, change)
• First exposure to Agile ways of working (Scrum/Kanban) is beneficial
• Familiarity with standard operating procedures and documentation practices
