Job summary

Equação IT is seeking a SAP Functional / S/4HANA specialist to join our team in Lisbon on a long-term hybrid contract. The role focuses on SAP SD and S/4HANA, requiring deep expertise in Order-to-Cash, Billing, and pricing, with Brazil taxation experience.

You will lead design and end-to-end delivery while coordinating with multiple teams. The successful candidate will work closely with business stakeholders, configure solutions, and guide junior teammates, delivering value across the SAP

Qualifications

• 7-8 years of SAP SD in SAP S/4HANA landscape.
• Strong expertise in SAP S/4HANA SD, including Order-to-Cash, Sales Orders, Pricing, Billing.
• Experience with Brazilian taxation.
• Hands-on with Contracts, Pricing Procedures, Taxes, Discounts.
• Experience with integration of SAP SD with other SAP modules.
• Good understanding of SAP S/4HANA architecture and integration (IDocs, APIs, XML).
• Ability to lead SD solution design, configuration, and end-to-end delivery.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

Responsibilities

• As an Application Support Engineer, you will be responsible for acting as software detectives, providing a dynamic service identifying and solving issues within multiple components of critical business systems.
• You are expected to be a subject matter expert, collaborate and manage the team to perform effectively.
• You will be responsible for team decisions, engage with multiple teams, and contribute to key decisions.
• Additionally, you will provide solutions to problems for your immediate team and across multiple teams.
• Expert proficiency in SAP Sales and Distribution (SD) is required.
• Expert proficiency in SAP SD Billing is recommended, along with expert proficiency in Engineering Support, suggested.

Must Have

• Should have around 7-8 years of experience in SAP Sales and Distribution in SAP S/4 HANA Landscape.
• Strong expertise in SAP S/4HANA SD, including Order-to-Cash, Sales Orders, Pricing, Billing.
• Should have Brazil taxation Experience.
• Hands‑on experience with Contracts, Pricing Procedures, Taxes, Discounts.
• Experience with integration of SAP SD with other SAP modules.
• Good understanding of SAP S/4HANA architecture and integration landscape (IDocs, APIs, XML)
• Ability to lead SD solution design, configuration, and end‑to‑end delivery.
• Strong experience working directly with business stakeholders and end users.
• Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast‑paced, collaborative environment.
• Fluency in Spanish (written and spoken).

Good To Have

• Experience in Localization/SAP DRC solution will be plus.
• Experience in requirement gathering, preparation of FS document.
• Experience in SD Integration with Convergent Invoicing (BRIM).
• Experience working in Agile / Scrum environments.
• Exposure to global rollouts or multi-country implementations.
• SAP SD or S/4HANA certification.

Duration: Long Term Contract.

Location: Portugal - Hybrid with at least 2 days in the office.
