Zusammenfassung

HRIT People is seeking an SAP FI/CO Consultant for a new northern Portugal team. You will analyse business processes, map needs, and lead ERP implementations across group companies, selecting standard functions and designing tailor-made ones where needed.

You will provide training and day‑to‑day user support, maintain SAP finance and controlling modules, and create technical documentation, while coordinating with technical teams.

Qualifikationen

• Degree in management IT, computer science or industrial management.
• SAP FI/CO functional skills, from implementation projects.
• At least 4 years’ experience in similar roles.
• S/4HANA knowledge is a plus.
• Fluent English and Portuguese.

Aufgaben

Our client is an established international manufacturing group serving demanding industrial markets. It operates across multiple sites and is known for a collaborative, entrepreneurial culture. For a new team in northern Portugal, they are looking for an SAP FI/CO Consultant.

Mission

Analyse business processes, define the company’s needs, set parameters and lead ERP implementation projects in group companies. Choose standard functionalities to implement and, where needed, design tailor-made ones. Provide ongoing training and day-to-day user support.

What you will do:

Application maintenance and development

• Share responsibility for managing, maintaining and operating SAP finance and controlling modules.
• Implement SAP solutions according to business needs.
• Provide occasional support to users in logistics, production and HR modules.
• Understand how these modules integrate with finance and controlling.
• Create and maintain technical documentation.
• Manage complementary applications, licences, users and authorisations.
• Build complex queries and controlling reports.
• Manage selected SAP basis functions and maintain forms.

Supporting ERP users

• Handle and resolve incidents across the group.
• Train users and prepare support and training manuals.
• Progressively industrialise how support requests are handled.

Project management

• Lead ERP implementation and continuous improvement projects.
• Manage and design interfaces with technical teams and users.

What you bring:

• Degree in management IT, computer science or industrial management.
• SAP FI/CO functional skills, for example from implementation projects.
• At least 4 years’ experience in similar roles.
• S/4HANA knowledge is a plus.
• Strong SAP configuration and advanced Excel skills.
• Analytical, problem-solving and organisational skills.
• Fluent English and Portuguese (mandatory).
