Job summary

Testo SE & Co. KGaA is seeking a SAP Developer to design, implement and maintain S/4HANA developments in the Public Cloud. You will deepen experience with CDS Views, RAP, and API integrations on SAP BTP, while upholding Clean Core principles.

You will work cross-functionally with IT and business units in an international environment, contributing to innovative cloud-first transformation projects and ongoing learning opportunities.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in SAP development, including ABAP Core and ABAP OO.
• Hands-on experience with S/4HANA development using CDS Views and RAP.
• Basic understanding of API-based integrations (OData / REST / SOAP).

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain SAP developments in S/4HANA Public Cloud.
• Develop services using SAP CAP and/or RAP; potentially integrate APIs on SAP BTP.
• Apply Clean Core principles to ensure sustainable architecture and high code quality.
• Collaborate with business units and IT teams to deliver robust technical solutions.

Role Description

• SAP Development & Integration: Design, implement, and maintain SAP developments in S/4HANA Public Cloud
• Deepen experience in developing services using SAP CAP and/or RAP, OData, and potentially integrate APIs on SAP BTP. Potentially design and configure Cloud Integration interfaces (CPI) for seamless connectivity.
• Clean Core & Extension Strategy: Apply Clean Core principles to ensure sustainable and future-proof system architecture. Maintained high standards of code quality, performance and documentation.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with business units and IT teams to analyze requirements and deliver robust technical solutions.

Your Profile

Education

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering or related fields.

Must-have Experience

• 2+ years experience in SAP development, including ABAP Core and ABAP OO
• hands‑on experience with S/4HANA development in using CDS Views and RAP
• basic understanding of API-based integrations (OData / REST / SOAP)

Nice-to-have Experience

• first experience with SAP CAP and/or RAP
• high level understanding for SAP BTP services
• experience with Git
• SAP S/4HANA Cloud Public Edition or SAP certifications (ABAP, BTP, CAP, RAP)
• experience with Adobe Interactive Forms, Smartforms

Languages

Very good command of written and spoken English.
