Job summary

TMC is seeking an experienced SAP BW / S/4HANA Consultant to drive migration and modernization of SAP environments toward the Cloud. You will contribute to an enterprise transformation, analyze data models, and collaborate with cross-functional teams in a challenging project.

The role requires hands-on SAP BW/S/4HANA experience, cloud migration know-how, and strong communication in English. Lisbon-based hybrid setup offers 2 days in the office and 3 days remote participation.

Qualifications

• Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering or related field.
• Professional experience with SAP BW and S/4HANA in enterprise environments.
• Hybrid work availability in Lisbon (onsite + remote).
• Fluent or professional English language skills.

Responsibilities

• Support migration of SAP BW and S/4HANA to the Cloud.
• Analyze SAP BW architecture, data models, flows and integrations.
• Design and implement target cloud architecture.
• Migrate and optimize BW data models, transformations and reports.
• Ensure integration between SAP BW, S/4HANA and other systems.
• Identify risks and optimization opportunities during migration.
• Perform testing, troubleshooting and performance optimization.
• Create technical documentation and transfer knowledge to teams.

At TMC, we are looking for an experienced SAP BW / S/4HANA Consultant to join a challenging transformation project focused on the migration and modernization of SAP environments to the Cloud.

This is an opportunity to work in a complex enterprise environment, supporting the evolution of SAP data and analytics solutions while contributing to a strategic cloud migration initiative.

Your Role

As an SAP BW / S/4HANA Consultant, you will play a key role in the migration and modernization of the existing SAP landscape.

You Will:

• Support the migration of SAP BW and S/4HANA environments to the Cloud;
• Analyse existing SAP BW architecture, data models, flows and integrations;
• Participate in the design and implementation of the target cloud architecture;
• Support the migration and optimization of BW data models, transformations, queries and reporting solutions;
• Ensure integration between SAP BW, S/4HANA and other SAP or external systems;
• Identify technical dependencies, risks and opportunities for optimization during the migration;
• Perform testing, troubleshooting and performance optimization;
• Collaborate closely with SAP, Cloud, Data and Infrastructure teams throughout the migration lifecycle;
• Produce technical documentation and support knowledge transfer.

What We Are Looking For / Technical Skills

• Solid professional experience with SAP BW;
• Hands-on experience working with SAP S/4HANA environments;
• Strong understanding of SAP data models, data flows and integrations;
• Experience with SAP BW on HANA and/or BW/4HANA;
• Knowledge of SAP extraction and data provisioning mechanisms;
• Experience with SAP system migrations, upgrades or transformation projects;
• Understanding of Cloud architectures and SAP Cloud migration scenarios;
• Experience with testing, troubleshooting and performance optimization in SAP environments

Ideally, you have experience in one or more of the following areas:

• SAP BW to BW/4HANA migration;
• SAP landscape modernization involving S/4HANA;
• Migration of SAP workloads from on-premises environments to the Cloud;
• SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP);
• Cloud environments such as Microsoft Azure, AWS or Google Cloud Platform;
• Hybrid SAP architectures.

Nice to Have

• Experience with SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC);
• Knowledge of SAP Datasphere;
• Experience with ABAP, particularly in BW environments;
• Previous participation in large-scale SAP transformation or cloud migration programs;
• SAP certifications related to BW, S/4HANA or Cloud technologies.
