What You’ll Do

We are looking for an experienced SAP Basis Senior Consultant to take ownership of technical CAS service delivery across multiple customers and complex SAP landscapes, operated within S/4HANA Cloud, private edition (RISE) and related components. The candidate must possess strong SAP Basis expertise, a customer‑focused mindset, and excellent communication skills. As a Business Process Senior Consultant, you will analyse customers’ business requirements or technical problem statements and act as a technical advisor and problem solver for clients and internal stakeholders.

This includes a variety of technical tasks (hands‑on execution based on tickets and advisory) in the following areas: technical configuration and integration of SAP software, release upgrades, application lifecycle management, as well as day‑to‑day operations and maintenance of technical SAP landscapes. In addition, you will work on improving our system setup and configuration guidelines, validating new applications, designing work instructions, and driving automation initiatives. You will also focus on designing and delivering knowledge transfer to the global operations community and creating technical documentation, including operational concepts, process flows, and guidelines.

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee the delivery of CAS services in an SLA‑based environment by the team for the customer.
  • Guide the team on troubleshooting activities in Basis, Security, and data growth aspects of SAP applications.
  • Play a pivotal role in technical service delivery, ensuring seamless collaboration with other SAP teams to drive agile resolution of critical issues.
  • Ensure quality assurance by maintaining deliverables and documentation for each service component.
  • Act as the first point of escalation for service delivery; lead the delivery team from a Basis perspective.
  • Participate in customer calls, identify focus areas, and provide consultancy in critical areas.
  • Demonstrate versatility in handling complex and challenging customer discussions and interactions.
  • Drive continuous improvement in processes and service delivery, including the adoption of AI‑based automation.
Education
  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, Information Systems, or related field.
Work Experience and Mandatory Skills
  • Minimum 7 years’ SAP Basis experience.
  • In‑depth knowledge of SAP Basis Administration including ABAP/Java stacks, FIORI, Web Dispatcher, Cloud Connector and SAP landscape management for various SAP solutions.
  • Good knowledge in SAP HANA & SAP Business Technology Platform.
  • Good background in software architecture and cloud technology.
  • Sound understanding of SAP Cloud ALM, Focused Run (FRUN), and ITSM ticketing tools to manage incidents and service delivery.
  • Excellent communication skills – verbal and written.
  • Proactive mindset with a focus on continuous improvement and innovation.
  • Experience in ITIL and IT Service Management processes.
