iTRTech Group is seeking a Senior SAP ABAP Developer (Logistics) for a hybrid Porto position. You will join a global, cross‑functional team responsible for SAP solutions across logistics processes, combining hands-on ABAP development with design, support, troubleshooting, and documentation.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years of SAP development experience, strong ABAP skills, and knowledge of SAP Logistics modules (MM/WM/PP/SD/CS/EWM).

Work Model: Hybrid - on-site presence approximately 3-4 times per month

About The Opportunity

You will join a global and cross-functional team responsible for developing, maintaining, and improving SAP solutions across logistics processes.

The position combines hands‑on ABAP development, technical design, application support, troubleshooting, documentation, and collaboration with functional teams and international stakeholders across Europe, North America, South America, India, China, and the APAC region.

Main Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, document, and maintain custom SAP applications and enhancements.
• Perform unit testing and ensure developments follow established standards and best practices.
• Collaborate with functional support teams to translate high-level business requirements into detailed technical designs.
• Conduct system analysis, high-level solution design, and programming activities.
• Review and approve technical design and development deliverables.
• Provide application and product support to end users.
• Investigate incidents, identify root causes, and implement effective resolutions.
• Provide guidance and training to users when required.
• Maintain and improve SAP development tools and processes.
• Apply SAP technical updates and test new or updated development processes.
• Identify opportunities to improve system performance, maintainability, and user experience.
• Collaborate with internal teams, regional stakeholders, and external vendors.

Mandatory Requirements

• At least five years of proven professional experience in SAP development.
• Strong hands‑on ABAP development experience.
• Solid experience with SAP ERP Logistics modules, particularly MM, WM, PP, SD, CS, and/or EWM.
• Experience developing Adobe Forms, SMART Forms, and SAPscript.
• Experience developing web services in both provider and consumer roles.
• Knowledge of the SAP S/4HANA technology stack.
• Experience with CDS Views and Fiori development.
• Experience with REST programming.
• Knowledge of OData and ABAP Core Data Services.
• Practical experience with Jira and GitLab.
• Fluency in English for daily collaboration with international teams.
• Experience creating technical documentation and presenting solutions.
• Strong troubleshooting, problem-solving, and incident-resolution capabilities.
• Experience working collaboratively in project and cross‑functional environments.
