A consulting technology firm in Braga is seeking an experienced SAP ABAP Consultant with over 5 years of experience. The role involves developing and optimizing ABAP applications, collaborating with functional teams, and ensuring seamless integration of SAP modules. Qualificações

• 5+ years of experience as a SAP ABAP Developer.

We are looking for an Amazing: SAP ABAP CONSULTANT

Responsibilities / What you will do

The amazing you, will have:

• 5+ years of experience as a SAP ABAP Developer.
• Strong hands-on experience with ABAP development, including classical, OO, enhancements, user exits, BADIs, BAPIs, RFCs, and Dynpros.
• Experience in debugging, performance optimization and code quality best practices.
• Solid understanding of SAP modules integration, especially SD, MM, FI or others relevant to cross-functional flows.
• Experience working with SAP S/4HANA (including CDS Views, OData Services, RAP, AMDP).
• Ability to analyze functional requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
• Experience in interfaces and integrations (IDocs, APIs, middleware).
• Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate with functional consultants.
• Fluency in English (spoken and written).
• Mandatory fluency in Portuguese.

Plus / How you can stand out

• Experience in SAP IS-Retail.
• Knowledge of Fiori/UI5 or frontend integration points.
• Experience with test automation or ABAP Unit tests.
• Understanding of DevOps practices within SAP environments (e.g., transport automation, CI/CD tools).
• Familiarity with E-commerce integrations or retail-specific scenarios.
• Ability to propose technical improvements and guide best practices across the team.
