Job Description

Tekever is a leading global provider of innovative unmanned systems, security, and communication solutions. We are seeking a Safety Engineer to join our Airworthiness team. As a Safety Engineer, you will be responsible for conducting safety assessments, helping to define certification programmes, and ensuring that our products meet industry safety standards. You will work closely with the design and engineering teams to identify and mitigate potential hazards, while ensuring full alignment with airworthiness processes and directives.

Responsibilities
  • Conduct safety assessments to identify and mitigate potential hazards in our products.
  • Ensure that our products meet industry safety standards and regulations.
  • Work with the Product Design Team to develop and implement safety strategies, requirements, and verification activities.
  • Ensure ongoing coordination and communication with the Airworthiness Department, acting as the primary point of contact (POC) between the Product Team and Airworthiness.
  • Ensure that applicable Airworthiness Directives are properly implemented and followed throughout the product lifecycle.
  • Guarantee that Airworthiness‑mandated tools and methods are used consistently across safety and certification activities.
  • Participate in design reviews, risk assessments, and Agile/Scrum sprint planning to integrate safety considerations from early design phases.
  • Develop safety requirements and specifications for new products.Prepare safety reports, documentation, and safety cases in accordance with regulatory guidelines.
  • Perform safety testing and analysis using established methodologies.
  • Stay up‑to‑date with evolving industry safety standards, regulations, and certification frameworks.
Requirements
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering or a related field.
  • Familiarity with industry safety standards and regulations such as DO-178, DO-254, DO-278, ARP-4754, ARP-4761, ASTM F3309M-20, ASTM F3230-21a, and MIL-STD-882 is a strong plus.
  • Experience with safety analysis tools and techniques, such as Fault Tree Analysis (FTA) and Failure Modes and Effects Analysis (FMEA), is a plus.
  • Familiarity with UAS‑related regulations such as (EU) 2019/945, (EU) 2019/947, SORA, and Special Conditions Light‑UAS is desirable.
  • Experience working in an Agile/Scrum development environment.
  • Knowledge of systems engineering principles and lifecycle management.
  • Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, including the ability to coordinate activities across technical and regulatory teams.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
