Fundação Champalimaud in Lisbon, Portugal, seeks a fulltime fellow to support rodent care, husbandry and data management within the CF-Vivarium. The role requires a BSc or equivalent and comfort with English; familiarity with animal experimentation licensing is valued.

Qualificações

• BSc or equivalent degree required for consideration.
• Fulltime position with periods of high demand and flexible management.
• Candidates comfortable with English language preferred.
• Having a personal animal experimentation license and prior rodent facility experience is valued.

Responsabilidades

• Rodent care and husbandry routines including cage changes and breeding under supervision.
• Maintain databases of technical routines, tasks and animal procedures.
• Maintain inventories of consumables and equipment.
• Sanitize and organize CF-Vivarium rooms and equipment per procedures.
• Ensure proper maintenance and function of vivarium equipment, rooms and materials.
• Wash and sterilize cages, water bottles and related items.
• Contribute to high scientific and animal welfare standards.
