Job summary

Beyond Vision in Portugal is seeking a professional to contribute to navigation, localization and sensor fusion for autonomous systems. The role requires strong C++ and Python skills and fluency in English and Portuguese, with travel flexibility.

A Masters in a related field is preferred and a permanent contract is offered. Salary ranges from 1.400€ to 1.700€ gross per month, with meal allowance and health insurance included.

Requirements

• Relevant experience in development of navigation, localization or sensor fusion solution for autonomous systems.
• State estimation and nonlinear filtering techniques (EKF, factor graph optimization).
• Experience with INS integration.
• Proficiency in C++ and Python.
• Fluency in both English and Portuguese.
• Availability to travel.

Preferred Requirements

• Knowledge of flight dynamics.
• Experience with Ardupilot and ROS2.
• Hands‑on experience with test and validation in SITL, HITL, and real systems.
• Experience with optimizing algorithms in NVIDIA Jetson HW.
• 2 years of experience.
• Master thesis in related field.

Qualifications

• Masters in Aerospace Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field (with a focus on autonomous systems).
