Job summary

Nimber in Porto is seeking a Security Infrastructure Engineer responsible for the operational maintenance and continuous improvement of security infrastructures, ensuring high standards of quality, productivity, and security. The role includes diagnosing issues, implementing and optimizing security policies, and providing technical guidance on network security.

You will work to maintain service levels in line with SLAs and interface with experts from other domains to verify compliance with IT

Qualifications

• Knowledge of NSX-T / VCF9 network segmentation and firewall rules.
• Experience configuring Palo Alto and Fortinet firewalls.
• Experience in IT production environments (requests, incidents, changes, documentation).
• Portuguese/English or French/English language proficiency.

Responsibilities

• Ensure the operational maintenance of security infrastructures (Run).
• Diagnose malfunctions and identify causes.
• Implement and maintain security policies on equipment.
• Define and implement best practices for managing security policies.
• Provide expertise and guidance on network security and alerts.
• Ensure service levels align with SLAs within the area of responsibility.
