Job summary

SecureLine in Funchal, Madeira, is seeking a reliable House Maid to keep our clients' homes pristine and comfortable. This full-time role offers on-site work in Funchal with accommodation, and visa assistance for non-EU nationals.

No prior experience is required as training is provided; a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and the ability to follow instructions are essential. Proficiency in Portuguese or English is beneficial for daily interactions.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred but not required.
• Ability to work independently and efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
• Good communication skills in Portuguese or English.
• Physically able to perform cleaning tasks including lifting up to 25lbs.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions.
• Positive attitude and strong work ethic.

Responsibilities

• Perform general cleaning tasks such as dusting, sweeping, mopping, and vacuuming
• Maintain the cleanliness of bathrooms and kitchens
• Change bed linens and do laundry as needed
• Keep track of household supplies and notify when items need to be restocked
• Assist with meal preparation and clean up afterwards
• Handle special requests from clients such as organizing closets or running errands
• Follow health and safety guidelines to ensure a clean and hygienic environment
