Cloudflare in Lisbon is offering a Fall 2026 Research Engineer Intern position. The role combines engineering work, measurement, and collaboration with researchers (IETF/academia) to tackle open problems in systems and security.

You will work in Lisbon in-office, contribute to ongoing directions, or propose ideas to improve Cloudflare technologies, with emphasis on AI, distributed systems, privacy, and TEEs, and produce clear technical writings.

Qualificações

• Evidence of tackling hard or open-ended problems
• Peer-reviewed research, strong OSS, or standards work is a plus
• Interest in AI, distributed systems, privacy, and/or TEEs
• Comfortable with engineering, data analysis, and clear technical writing
• Based in Lisbon for the Fall 2026 research internship
