Dev.Pro, a remote‑first IT company with a Europe‑wide team, is seeking a Senior Test Automation Engineer to evolve a fintech data platform. You will own end‑to‑end QA for backend services and AI components, driving robust automation across distributed systems and complex integrations.

Ideal candidates have 5+ years in QA/SDET, strong Python skills, and experience with REST APIs, CI/CD, Docker, and PostgreSQL.

Qualificações

• 5+ years in QA/SDET roles with end‑to‑end ownership of test automation and QA activities.
• Strong experience with backend and non‑UI‑focused test automation.
• Experience defining QA strategy, automation approaches, quality gates, and test coverage for complex systems.
• Strong proficiency in Python.
• Experience testing REST APIs, backend services, and complex system integrations.
• Experience designing automated test frameworks and integrating them into CI/CD pipelines.
• Experience testing distributed systems and microservices.

Responsabilidades

• Lead quality assurance across the full software development lifecycle.
• Analyze requirements and technical documentation to identify quality risks and define test coverage.
• Define and evolve QA strategy, automation approaches, quality gates, and release criteria.
• Partner with engineering and product teams to align requirements, acceptance criteria, and quality expectations.
• Design, build, and maintain automated test frameworks and test suites for backend services, REST APIs, AI‑related components, and system integrations.
• Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines and continuously expand automation coverage.
• Investigate defects, analyze failures, and support root cause analysis across distributed systems.
• Contribute to technical documentation, quality reporting, and continuous improvement of automation practices.
