Jobgether is seeking a Senior Embedded Linux Software Engineer – Optimisation in a fully remote role. You will optimize Linux across the stack for next-generation hardware, collaborating with partners and cross-functional teams to deliver high-performance platforms.

The role spans kernel, system software, middleware, and graphical environments, with focus on IoT, embedded, server-class hardware and complex platform architectures. Strong C/C++ and Linux expertise are essential.

Qualificações

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience in a technical discipline.
• Strong software development for Linux-based environments, including embedded IoT platforms.
• Experience with Linux packaging technologies (Debian, RPM, Yocto).
• Proficient in C and C++ with a track record of optimization work.
• Familiarity with open-source communities and licensing.
• Ability to work across multiple layers of the software stack and teams.

Responsabilidades

• Design and implement optimized Linux integrations for embedded and server platforms.
• Collaborate with hardware partners to deliver high-performance Linux experiences.
• Lead technical engagements spanning cloud, edge, OS, and applications.
• Assist customers with SDK adoption, device OS image creation, and app optimization.
• Work across the full Linux stack from low-level components to GUI environments.
