Job summary

AgileEngine, LLC. is seeking a Python Backend Developer to build and extend the backend of an internal developer portal and dashboard, using AI coding tools in daily work. Responsibilities include designing and maintaining a robust Python backend and integrating Snowflake/SQL/NoSQL databases.

You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, leverage AI tools like Copilot or ChatGPT, and maintain CI/CD pipelines in a Linux/Unix environment. Remote-friendly, international teams.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of backend development with Python and standard web frameworks (FastAPI, Django, or Flask).
• Experience with Snowflake, SQL, and NoSQL databases.
• REST API design experience and Git/CI/CD proficiency.
• Daily use of AI coding assistants and an upper-intermediate English level.

Responsibilities

• Continue the development and extension of the internal developer portal and dashboard.
• Design, build, and maintain a robust custom Python backend to support core application features.
• Leverage AI coding tools to streamline implementation, refactoring, and test generation.
• Integrate the application with Snowflake, SQL, and MongoDB databases.
• Manage Git-based version control and CI/CD pipelines.
• Navigate Linux/Unix environments to run builds, scripts, and inspect logs.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate requirements into scalable solutions.
• Ensure code quality through unit testing and peer code reviews.
