KCS IT is seeking an experienced Data Engineer to join our remote-friendly team in Portugal. You will work on end-to-end data pipelines, integrating diverse data sources, and implementing robust data governance practices.

You should have 5+ years in data engineering, strong SQL, Python/Java, ETL, Databricks, and cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP). We value curiosity, collaboration and the ability to deliver scalable solutions for complex data problems.

Qualificações

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or relevant field.
• Familiarity with ETL tools and data integration techniques.
• Working knowledge of Java, Python, and SQL.
• Understanding of data security, governance, and compliance standards.
• Knowledge of data warehousing, data lakes, and cloud computing platforms.
• Ability to design efficient, scalable solutions for complex data problems.
• Experience with cloud-native data platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
• Strong experience with Databricks.
• Exposure to DataOps or DevOps practices (plus).
• Good level of English.
• The candidate has to be in Portugal.
