Kuehne+Nagel is seeking a Data Engineer in Porto to design, build, and maintain scalable data pipelines powering reporting and analytics. You will work with analysts, product owners, and engineers to deliver data-driven solutions across the organization.

The role emphasizes ownership, quality, and continuous improvement of the data platform. Flexible hours and remote work options are available, with a strong focus on teamwork and knowledge sharing.

Qualificações

• Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science, or related field.
• 5+ years of experience in data engineering.
• Strong SQL, data modeling, and data transformation skills.
• Snowflake experience and data warehousing expertise.
• Hands-on with dbt, Git/GitLab, CI/CD, and data orchestration tools.
• Proficiency in Python; other languages are a plus.
• Strong English communication and collaboration across teams.

Responsabilidades

• Develop, maintain, and enhance scalable data pipelines and transformations.
• Build and maintain data models for reporting and analytics.
• Apply data engineering best practices, including testing and documentation.
• Develop and maintain data orchestration workflows with reliable processing.
• Collaborate with analysts, product owners, and engineers to meet requirements.
• Monitor data quality and troubleshoot issues; drive platform reliability.
• Participate in code reviews and knowledge sharing to improve practices.
