Job summary

Mindrift offers a remote freelance opportunity to train and evaluate AI agents operating in real CAD environments on complex engineering tasks. You will design geometry, prepare reference solutions and assess agent performance alongside CFD engineers.

The role requires a strong CAD background, an active licence, and Python and GitHub proficiency; English at B2 level or above is expected. Projects are paid by the hour with flexible scheduling.

Qualifications

• Degree in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering or related field; Master's/PhD a plus.
• 5+ years CAD modelling experience with CATIA, SolidWorks, Siemens NX or Creo.
• Active professional CAD licence required; Python and GitHub experience beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Help train and evaluate AI agents that work inside a CAD environment on long engineering tasks.
• Design part geometry, build reference solutions and judge agent attempts in collaboration with CFD engineers.
