Imaginary Cloud is seeking an AI/ML software engineer to design and deploy backend AI services in a remote-forward environment. You will work on Azure OpenAI based features, building robust APIs and pipelines for processing text, audio, and other data.

You’ll collaborate with product and engineering teams to deliver scalable, secure solutions. You should have 3+ years in AI/ML roles, strong .NET/C#, and hands-on experience with modern AI tooling to accelerate development and deployment.

Qualificações

• 3+ years of working experience in AI/ML or related software engineering roles.
• Academic background in Computer Science, Data science, AI, or related field
• Strong professional experience with .NET/C# and backend APIs
• Hands on experience with AI models and generative AI for various pipelines
• Excellent understanding of transformer-based architectures and ML principles
• Fluency in English, both spoken and written
• Residents of Portugal or legally eligible to live and work there

Responsabilidades

• Develop, problem-solve, and collaborate on AI projects with multidisciplinary teams.
• Build and maintain backend APIs and orchestration layers.
• Work with Azure OpenAI and other AI models for production-ready solutions.
• Implement summarisation, extraction, filtering, and speech-to-text pipelines.
• Utilize AI tools to accelerate code development and debugging.
• Contribute to architecture decisions and model deployment strategies.
• Engage with product teams to translate needs into technical solutions.
