A global automotive solutions provider is seeking a Regional Industrial Engineer in Palmela, Portugal. In this role, you will support RFQ's, create process documentation, and conduct layout planning. Qualificações

• 3 to 5 years of experience in OEM Tier 1 or equipment supplier.
• Experience with simulation tools (Flexim appreciated).
• Hands-on approach and analytical skills.
• MTM-UAS certification appreciated.
• Simulation tools experience helpful.

Responsabilidades

• Support RFQ's from the industrial engineering perspective.
• Elaborate process documentation based on customer info.
• Conduct layout planning in 2D and 3D.
• Layout planning in 2D (AutoCAD) and 3D (Inventor).
• Present industrial concept internally and to customers.

Motherson SAS is looking for a Regional Industrial Engineer to join our team based in Palmela, Portugal!

Tasks

• Support RFQ’s from the industrial engineering perspective with regards to feasibility, labor, tools & equipment investment
• Elaborate process & assembly process documentation based on customer info. (BOM; PDM; CAD data; assembly flow)
• Apply industrial engineering methods to determine labor requirements using MTM-UAS based on customer information.
• Layout planning in 2D (autocad) and 3D (Inventor).
• Issue industrial concept and present it internally and to customers.
• Provide data to perform cost analysis (investments and assembly time) and process alternatives.
• Build list of equipment required for the industrialization of new programs.
• Create tool and equipment specifications; request quotes to suppliers and assess offers received
• Interface for technical departments internal and with the customer

Profile

• Engineering degree (preferable mechanical or industrial)
• OEM Tier 1 or equipment supplier (3 to 5 years of exp.)
• Layout design experience in Autocad and Inventor
• MTM-UAS experience (certification would be appreciated)
• Simulation tools (Flexim experience is appreciated)
• Tightening processes and plastics process assembly experience would be appreciated
• Experienced in project work, analytical and hands-on approach
• Fluent in english, other language is a plus
• Open for business travelling
