A real estate company in Tavira, Portugal, is looking for a sales agent to help clients find suitable properties. The ideal candidate should have 3-5 years of sales experience, fluency in English and Swedish, as well as a passion for achieving sales targets. Duties include identifying client needs and building lasting relationships to close deals. The role may involve some evening and weekend work.
Portugal has become increasingly popular among Scandinavians, and Fastighetsbyrån has been successfully established here since 2014. In early 2019, we opened an additional office in Tavira, where we primarily help Scandinavians fulfill their dream of owning a home in eastern Algarve. Our years in Tavira have been very successful, and we are now looking to expand our team with another sales agent. Today, we are a team of four working in a brand-new, bright office in a prime location in central Tavira.
We have a well-developed network of buyers and sellers that grows every year, which means many of our clients return to us time and again when it’s time to buy or sell a property. This trust is something we value highly. Thanks to the large number of transactions we handle, we are always up to date on everything from market values to potential buyers – because those who sell the most know the most.

We are looking for someone with previous sales experience, strong drive, and a passion for achieving ambitious sales targets. You likely enjoy building long-term client relationships, closing deals, and creating satisfied customers. You understand that working as a real estate agent is not always easy, you need to work hard to build your client base and earn repeat business and referrals over time. You also see yourself as a team player who enjoys working collaboratively, even though some tasks will be carried out independently.
As a sales agent in Portugal, your role will focus on finding buyers for properties. Most of our clients come from Scandinavia, but we also work with many other nationalities. You will actively reach out to clients interested in investing or relocating to Tavira and its surroundings, both by following up on incoming leads and by finding your own prospects. The needs analysis is the most important part of the client interaction – you must identify what the client is looking for and ensure they view the right properties. If you don’t show them the right home, another agent will.
Working hours are mainly between 09:00 and 18:00, but some evening and weekend work may occur (primarily for property viewings).
