Position Overview

The Radio Technician will be responsible for maintaining, repairing and installing radio equipment in Faro, Portugal. This is a full-time position with a salary of $1100 per month.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and diagnose issues with radio equipment
• Perform repairs and maintenance on radios transmitters and receivers
• Install new radio equipment as needed
• Test and calibrate equipment to ensure proper functioning
• Keep detailed records of all work performed
• Stay up-to-date on industry developments and new technologies

Requirements

• Previous experience as a radio technician or similar role
• Strong knowledge of radio equipment and systems
• Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics
• Familiarity with basic electronic components and circuitry
• Excellent problem solving skills
• Ability to work independently or as part of a team
• Good communication skills in English; Portuguese is a plus
